A philosopher once said, "Body is an instrument of the Self". Body is the material entity while the Self is the conscious entity experiencing the material world. Nobody has ever seen the Self but its presence is felt somewhere inside, somewhere behind our own eyes. You see others as material beings while you see yourself through an entirely different perspective. When you look inside you see the Self & not always your material body.

Understanding Love for Your Partner

These days people get inspired by movies & tv serials and make some concepts about love. They get attracted to each other because the structure of our mind & body is like that but they call it a connection (May be from Past Life?). Well, that’s just injected in your mind & that is not true. We get attracted to people with whom we can relate to. A girl usually get attracted to a guy who has some characteristics in common with her father (not always) or just because she gets a good feeling with that person.

People fall in love with each other, they expect some care, honesty & respect from their partner. I believe life would have been much easier if people would have expected only these things. But things just don’t end there, science & technology has made life way too complicated. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter & Instagram became so important in our life. More than our partner we care about looking good in front of other & not just other people, people they hardly know on social media.

Love is being with your partner and feel happy. But before that we need to understand, What is Love? These days people get inspired by movies & tv serials and make some concepts about love. They get attracted to each other because the structure of our mind & body is like that but they call it a connection (May be from Past Life?).

Well, that’s just injected in your mind & that is not true. We get attracted to people with whom we can relate to. A girl usually get attracted to a guy who has some characteristics in common with her father (not always) or just because she gets a good feeling with that person.


People when they are with a new partner either misses the old one or feel incomplete from inside. They dream about their ex or feels that life would have been better with that person. Allow me to quote a line from Katy Perry’s song, “And In another Life I would be your Girl”, these lines were sung by her when she was missing her ex who is dead. Such things are very common.

If you understand the truth that there is no such connection. Things & life will get much simpler & you will feel life is not that complicated as it was before. So, are you not meant to feel any connection? I didn’t say that, you have all the right to feel, love & express yourself, but what I don’t support is what makes people sad about the past or complicate their present. To pretend in front of others that they have moved on, people do so many things like posting pictures on Facebook or Instagram, with their new partner, do acts which are not very decent & even sometimes do acts on social media to gain response from others & make their ex feel jealous.


Due to that so called connection they had, they feel stuck in the past & unable to see the beautiful present they are having right now. We get one life & we should feel privileged that we are born as a human being. I expect you are a human, Right? Hell yes, cats don’t read blogs at least for now. So feel proud that you are a human.

If you live in your present, see your partner like a person who loves you, live for you & who expect love from you then you will learn to live in the present. You will love like there is no limitation. You will be free to express yourself, your feelings & your abilities. You will feel the connection with not just your partner but with this nature & every being on this planet. You will be able to understand the kindness & love which was hidden deep inside you. You & everyone around you will feel that positivity & warmth.
